We’re inside the house again this week. It was 15f/-10c outside with the wind howling so we’re inside. But don’t worry I stuck a mic outside so you can listen to the wind blowing by. Sorry about the delay, our hosting provided moved data centers to Seattle over the US Thanksgiving weekend and then promptly broke everything and disabled the website. Anyways, after a phone call and learning more about wordpress, php and magic quotes we’re back.

Honey Pecan Pie Recipe

9″ unbaked pastry shell
3 eggs
1 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbspn butter melted and cooled
1/4tsp salt
1 cup broken toasted pecans

Chill pastry shell. Preheat over to 400. Beat the eggs till they are light and frothy, then add the rest of ingredients except the pecans. Beat till smooth. Mix in the pecans and immediately pour into the pie crust. Bake for 10 minutes, then turn the oven down to 300f and bake for 25 minutes. Test to make sure the pie is done and set.
